Do not download anything from the Internet, unless you really need and will use it (other than updates to your defensive programs, of course).  Do not download screensavers.  Windows already has lots.

(To find them, right-click a blank area of the Desktop.  Click “Properties”.   Click “Screen Saver”.  Click the little down arrow to the right of “Screen Saver”, below the monitor.  Choose a screen saver.)

If you do intend to download something, update all your security programs first, then run them all, after the download.  If you are not sure of the source or if you can trust the website, make a Restore Point first, in case you need to roll back your computer to the way it was before the download.

To do that, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore.  Select “Create a restore point”, click “Next” and follow instructions.

The reason for all this caution?  There are some 150,000 viruses, worms, Trojans and other malware now circulating on the Internet. Each and every one of them would love to get into your computer and wreak havoc there.  Being careful is better and easier than being sorry.
