Save Ink With The Ecofont

Here is an interesting idea I just had to pass along to you. Doesn’t it just drive you crazy how expensive printer cartridges are? Yes, I know printers are cheap, but the manufacturers get their money back with the sale of the cartridges.
One of the things you can do to save ink is to download and install the Ecofont from Dutch company Spranq. This new font cuts ink consumption by about 15%. How?
Basically, the Ecofont has little holes in the letters! The end result is not pretty, but should be adequate for many home uses. You download and install the font into your local fonts folder. There is help on the site if you don’t know how to do that.
